Did you ever wonder what God thinks when He sees someone that needs help but didn't get it because their hair was purple, nose was short, thought to be of that "other" religion, didn't request "properly"...? Do you think there might be a "technicality clause" when we leave this life?... Nah, I wouldn't count on it.
If you REALLY want to help someone, get involved with helping children and human rights. You can volunteer to help, or donate clothing, blankets, or any housewares at your local Women and Children's shelter, or Family Resource Center. (Check with your Chamber of Commerce, or Volunteer Match for addresses near you.) Help to stop the hate in this world and increase the love.

snowhawk idea (Yes, it happens. Is Neptune aligned with Mercury? Or is it just a "blue moon"?) - For a youth group: They could paint the wall(s) white in their classroom / meeting place, then let each one paint some graffiti that they want (favorite scripture, support, greeting, drawing). It would be like a signature to their room. It could, of course, be supervised; but it would be their own "territorial mark". :)
